The Minnesota DNR is considering New Fishing Regulations

Senator Chaudhary (contact info) is considering new legislation that would change the walleye numbers permitted to be taken and the slot size permitted.   Current walleye information is to be found here : DNR

"Minnesota lawmakers may be about to mess with some longstanding Minnesota fishing regulations.

Northern Pike
This is the new record in Canada. He caught it at Michelle Lake.
This guy (in the photos below), was fishing and caught a 36" Pike -
as he was reeling it in, a 56" Pike tried to eat it!!!!! He brought
them both in on the same net.
