Cloquet Valley State Forest Minimal
Cloquet Valley State Forest - OHV Planning : A
team of St. Louis County and Minnesota DNR staff have been working on
an OHV plan for the Cloquet Valley State Forest. The St. Louis County Board has given
preliminary review and approval to send the plan to the public. The Board has sent the plan out without endorsement of the designation of managed (most permissive system legal in any state) or limited- atvs must stay on marked trails (compromise) or closed which would mean closed to off road vehicles, and is not under serious consideration by either the county or DNR. The proposal has a map and that map has been approved to be sent to the public. The following is of the earlier version of the map prior to it's being further vetted: planning group's proposal map.
